Josh Nuni oversees the development of the PolicyMic game-layer and user-interface. He is a graduate of Deep Springs College (’07) and Harvard University (’10). After Deep Springs, he worked as a cowboy in California’s White Mountains and then moved to Tel Aviv, Israel, where he took a research position at The Portland Trust, a microfinance nonprofit aiming to foster peace between Palestinians and Israelis through economic development. While at Harvard, he studied organizing principles with community organizing guru Marshall Ganz, served as a student representative on the Undergraduate Council, and founded a nonprofit dedicated to creating a student-run, democratically-organized Student Community Center in Harvard Square. Most recently, he served as the Director of Social Media for Consumer Watchdog, where he developed much of his web savvy and expertise.
