I am Russian born, but raised mainly in the US and in Germany. Native/fluent in English, German, Russian and French. Currently resident in Germany, independently wealthy, volunteer surgeon at an orthopaedic hospital, also working as a translator and interpreter in medical and legal (police, courts, prisons, etc.) settings. A prominent and vocal proponent of human rights, especially legal recognition of people diagnosed with Gender Identity Disorder (aka transsexualism), their right to marry, adopt children, etc. Last, but not least, an informed and slightly radical atheist, opponent of everything religious.
