Carol Buck I did misspeak It falls under the Constitutional requirement for separation of Church and State. A religion cannot disobey federal law that currently requires health insurance to include, AS AN IMPORTANT PART OF WOMENS' CARE, coverage for prescribed birth control pills.

Catholic institutions that do not have all Catholic employees cannot deny this converage if they are providing heath insurance to their employees. PERIOD! It is called equal protection.

Bottom up -government policies are directed towards bring the lower classes up Top down - providing money to the upper classes hoping they will take action. Also, it is a fact that companies that treat workers well (fair pay, etc.) do well as businesses.
Carol Buck The president is not opposed to profit but how one profits. The top down view is favored by Mitt and many businessmen. The Dems think you can get profits and do the most good by using a bottom up approach and developping a solid middle class. Result, customers to puirchase goods to grow business.

His best accomplishment as governor (since he did not cut the budget or create net jobs) was the health plan, which he now says he will throw out.

Also, explain to me how Romney's budget and other stated plans and policies will do anything to create jobs or ease our deficit. And don't tell me about trickle down economics, which has yet to work .

I think given Obama w/the right Congress we could get badly due tax overhaul. Anything rational Mitt says pales beside this.

WE have looked the other way through slavery, segregation and racism. We need to do better. And yes, white guys need to get involved.
