Marci Santiago Thanks for commenting Gerry. You are right. Mexicans have a responsibility to develop their country and the United States needs to curb illegal immigration from Mexico with tougher border patrol and a comprehensive immigration policy. In the mean time laws like SB 1070 don't help!

You make some good points yet the issue here is that undocumented children are being prosecuted (through deportation) although they themselves have committed no crime by willfully entering the U.S. There should be parental responsibility--meaning parents should not enter illegally with their children. Children should not be responsible for their parents' actions. That's what Obama is trying to fix. If they overstayed their visa that's a crime, ship them back. If they said bye to mom and dad and crossed the border themselves illegally, ship them back. Good point on military service, however, if Pres. Obama isn't punishing them for this, why should we? Why punish someone who wants to serve our country?
Marci Santiago Don't agree with all F's but have to agree with #2. Washington can't agree on anything, thanks to his divisiveness, causing uncertainty with the debt ceiling, taxmageddon and Euro Zone woes. All this kicking the can down the road and the uncertainty is killing economic recovery.
