I read the statement from the Paul campaign,and what gave me the most hope from this whole mess what that in the end, even most of the Romney supporters joined the Paul supporters in turning their backs to the state committee after the attack on Mr. Herford. To me, it shows that the ideals of life, liberty, and freedom from tyranny are reaching more and more people. And the fact that none of it has been covered by MSM is disgusting and vile....

But nothing new. Dirty tricks have been part of the GOP tactics handbook since "Tricky Dick" Nixon's campaigns. What's different here is, instead of the victims being Democrats, they're the GOP's own faithful rank-and-file. That's where I got lost. The people are the state, the state is mostly the established elected who will go along with the Fed. We don't want that. You are right in that the public will never learn the issues of a power grabbing Fed with out the MSM printing the issues. What to do?

The 17th Amendment took the state governments' power away and gave and gave it to the people, who are the most influence-able and least informed. Now the states have no way to prevent the encroachment of the feds against the states.
