Oklahoma State GOP Delegate Binding LIVE Ron Paul Wins Delegates

Ron Paul has a chance to add to his delegate haul on Tuesday, as the Oklahoma State Republicans bind delegates.

Paul came in dead last in the original Oklahoma primary on Super Tuesday back in March, which former GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum won.

Since then, of course, both Santorum and Newt Gignrich — who came in third in the Oklahoma primary — both dropped out of the race. Both had received a few delegates, which are now up for grabs.

Mitt Romney will likely control many of the delegates, but Paul can easily capitalize.

Paul —utilizing his “It’s the Delegates, Dummy” system — has led a grassroots-level campaign to influence local and state delegates in his favor. This has led him to sweep delegates in Minnesota, Iowa, an Idaho.

So What’s Going On Here? The purpose of the event is for each delegate/alternate delegate from districts and with "At Large" status, to choose which candidate they will be bound to. Committee assignments will be made as well.

Main speakers and presenters will include Lukus Collins and Steve Dickson.

The national delegates/alternates from the "Parking Lot Convention" will be in attendance as they will press the issue of the legitimacy of the continuation of the convention in the "Parking Lot" and the selection of delegates and alternates there.

The Oklahoma state GOP knows these Ron Paul supporters are coming and are not happy about it.

These proceedings are of significant interest concerning the Oklahoma state delegation going forward to Tampa, Florida to the Republican National Convention in Tampa, the week of August 27.
