Has U.S. Foreign Policy Shifted Too Far to the Right?

On foreign policy issues, would President Barack Obama or a hypothetical President Mitt Romney be the better choice?

In this video produced by the Nation, veteran foreign policy journalist Jeremy Scahill, author of Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army, contends that President Romney would likely wage a war on Iran and further strain our relationship with China, but President Obama wouldn't be much better.

Do you agree with Scahill? Has American foreign policy taken a rightward turn this past decade? Is this a turn for the worse?
