Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) addressed CPAC 2013 with a speech in which he brought up the drone issue that prompt his epic 13-hour filibuster last week. Paul, who penned an Op-Ed for PolicyMic on Wednesday, in which highlighted the need for the GOP to open up to a younger demographic, continued suggesting the Republican Party needs to be a consistent advocate of liberty both in the economic and personal realms. "The GOP of old has grown stale and moss-covered," he said referring to some senators who earlier criticized him for "trying to cater to libertarian kids in their college dorms."
