Beyonce took center stage at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, to perform at the halftime show of Super Bowl 47, where the Baltimore Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 — in a game that will be remembered by the 30-minute blackout that left those at the stadium as well as the estimated 120 million who where watching from home literally in the dark.

The R&B super star, who stepped in controversy for lip synching at President Barack Obama's second inauguration, performed some of the classic hits as solo artist — such as 'Crazy in Love' — and also, as it had been rumored, was joined by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams the two other members of band Destiny's Child with which Beyonce debuted on the musical scene as a teenager.
