Allies and Rivals – Next Generation Following

We’re very excited to introduce our new follow tool, called Allies and Rivals. Not only can you now follow certain users and stay up to date on their posts, you can also select which camp they go into. You should follow users you think are smart – Allies are the ones you generally agree with and Rivals are the ones you disagree with but respect. Their activities will be more likely to show-up in your stream.

New Profile

With the new profile, you’ll be better able to communicate who you are. The new shortened bio is supplemented with fields for your education and interests. The topics you add on your profile will automatically be added to your stream. Your political leaning is important because it allows us to better foster debates with perspectives you're likely to disagree with.
