PSY Hates America Video This is The Video That Has Gotten PSY in Trouble

Though, according to UPI, Korean pop sensation and performer of the wildly viral YouTube hit "Gangnam Style," PSY, has apologized for his participation in a 2004 anti-American protest in which he sang about "killing Americans," the controversy is far from over.

The South Korean rapper, who's become a national entertainment staple thanks to his contagious K-pop hit, is scheduled to perform alongside Diana Ross and Demi Lovato at next week's "Christmas in Washington" event, which President Barack Obama is expected to attend.

However, Obama may want to reconsider attending the event — or the organizers may want to reconsider having PSY performing there — as the backlash generated by the 2004 performance of the Korean-language song, "Dear America," which calls for the death of U.S. troops serving in Iraq shortly after a South Korean hostage was killed by Iraqi insurgents, surfaced online.

As seen in the video, a golden-faced PSY lifts what it looks like the replica of a tank and reportedly sings about "[killing] those [expletive] Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives." According to the translation reported by UPI via CNN, he also urges violence towards the soldiers' "daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers."
