Will They Stay or Will They Go? – Bush tax cuts, that is. At an 11:50 a.m. event in the East Room with middle-class families and workers, President Obama called for a one year extension of the Bush-era rates for those making under $250,000. He continues to fight for the cuts to expire on Jan. 1 for people earning more than $250,000. House Republicans have already planned votes later this month to extend all of the Bush Tax cuts permanently.

CNN Going Viral – CNN and Facebook have entered into a multi-platform partnership, which will include an 'I'm Voting" Facebook App. The app will enable people to share their commitment to vote and support of particular issues or candidates. These commitments will be visually displayed on an interactive map, organized by U.S. states. CNN personalities will use the app to ask Facebook users the most important questions driving the national dialogue.

Mixing Pleasure With Politics – ESPN has struck a deal with ad-sales venture NCC Media LLC that will result in more political ads appearing on ESPN programs, including NFL and college football games, in October and November. ESPN's NFL games this year will get more political ads.
